Councillor Laura Williams
Margam and Tai-bach ward (NPT Labour Group Deputy Leader)
First elected in 2022 as one of 3 Labour Councillors for the Margam & Tai-bach ward, Laura is an active Councillor who loves to get involved in community work!
She is the Secretary of Margam Community Centre and also runs the Keep Wales Tidy litter picking hub from the venue, and she can often be found helping to clean up the local area.
In addition to this, she sits as a Governor on both Ysgol Cwm Brombil and Eastern Primary School and regularly supports both schools with their community events.
In May 2024, Laura was elected as the Deputy Leader of the NPT Labour Group after serving as the Group’s Secretary for 2 years.
